It's super easy and quick - only takes about 15 minutes and it's mighty yummy.
So I got going on the chase after a low carb flapjack formula that we would cherish and really anticipate eating breakfast.
There's a ton of keto flapjacks out there that include 2 ingredients: cream cheese and eggs. They're OK, yet they're a little eggy and way more tart than we like. Adding [almond] flour makes them somewhat more cakey, and the lemon zing provides them with an additional layer of flavor that we're completely dependent on.
Not an enthusiast of lemon? Add a teaspoon of vanilla all things being equal! You might make these exquisite with a touch of parmesan or cheddar! The customization choices are really unending.
Butter, for frying and serving
- In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, cream cheddar, eggs, and lemon zing until smooth.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium-low hotness, soften 1 tablespoon butter. Pour in around 3 tablespoons player and cook until brilliant, 2 minutes. Flip and cook 2 minutes more.
- Serve finished off with butter.
